We detected, some cold winter thickness of active layer (seasonally freezing layer) can amount 1,5 m. Interaction between seasonally freezing, snowdepthand altitudewas studied. For example, on the south are slope of Elbrus by bellow below altitude of2450 m and at a thickness of snow more than 1 m the seasonally freezing wasn't observed.
