The paper presents the results of a sociological survey conducted in January-February 2010 exploring the religious systems of the population in NCFR republics, the nature of the religious movements' impact on the social behavior of people in the social and cultural dynamics of the society. Many researchers point out that Islam for some North Caucasian peoples was a vital component of the national identity and after 90 years of XX century there was a surge of interest in religious rituals but we can say that today NCFR republics and Russia as a whole adhere to pagan beliefs.

The purpose of the present article is giving the sociological analysis of potential of economic modernization in a context of socio-cultural realities in the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The role of the socio-cultural factor as one of modernizing process drivers is investigated, some approaches to model of economic modernization in republic are defined.

Inflammatory diseases of the pancreases are among the acute surgical diseases of the abdominal organs and according to their incidence they take the third place letting only the acute appendicitis and clolecystitis. At the same time the number of cases of acute pancreatitis is constantly increasing with the simultaneous increase of the frequency of large-focus pancreonecnoses which is accompanied with high fatality about 60-80%. The methods and tactics improvement of the surgical treatment of the acute pancreatitis has given the possibility to decrease considerably the fatal outcome with the distractive forms.

In the article the comparative estimation of standard therapy and ther­apy with the immunomodulator polyoxidonium application to the children with the atopic dermatitis complicated by pyoderma is spent. It is shown that including polyoxidonium in therapy of the atopic dermatitis leads to improvement of immunologic indicators and therapy efficiency rising.

The carried out analysis showed that, in spite of the insufficiency of technical-normative documents and the absence of the concept of the development of information systems in public health, the ap­plication of local information systems has a positive effect on the results of the activity of the service of medico- social examination.

Resort treatment is a necessary step in the complex rehabilitation process of the patients with diseases of the central nervous system and musculoskeletal system. However restriction of motor pathology, the impaired function of adaptation often impede the development of climatic reactions of children with disabilities in the health resorts geographically distant from their residence place. A new methodology for optimal rehabilitation treatment for this group of patients, based on a complex natural therapeutic factors in the North Ossetia-Alania: application of clay tereklit and hydrogen sulphide baths of "Tamisk" Resort was suggested.
