The analysis of accident causes indicates the prevailing influence of corrosive factors on the structural safety in main gas pipelines. The article considers the main factors affecting the ecological security of main gas pipelines, defining the quality level required for operation.
The problem of economic state restoration for the mining industry in RNOAlania using the alternative technologies for the extraction and processing of ore is studied. The article describes the history of new technology resources in the form of losses and processing of tails. At the end of the last century a new leaching technology was first used in Fiagdon mine for the balanced ore extraction The recommended technology is an alternative to the non-perspective production potential restoration using the traditional technologies. The survival of former subsided mines and the regional economy growth can be provided using the nontraditional technologies in combination with the traditional ones on the economic basis.
The analysis of the mineral resource base state in nonferrous metallurgy, the impact of economic reforms in 90-s is presented and the need for the uneconomic ore deposits use is noted on the example Sadon ore area. It is shown that a real revival of the nonsubsided polymetal production is possible on the basis of the traditional technologies and new technologies combination of the underground, heap and mechanochemical leaching. It is determined that Sadon ore deposits fit leaching in terms of the geological and mineralogical conditions. By modeling the economic parameters, the economic efficiency of metal leaching at various mining stages is substantiated. The mining economy restoration trend by creating the products from leaching tails after the metals extraction is recommended, being non-alternative one for the former mining level restoration in the region.
The article considers some remarkable roof forms from the geometry point of view used by the architects in the pre-industrialized era and become standards for the masters of the following generations.
The automatic switches (AS) are part of hardware of the system for samples delivery for analysis and designed to change the transport container movement direction. The automatic switches are adaptable in design and perform two functions: transfer of a transport container from several to one transportation tubes and transfer of a transport container from one to several transportation tubes. The most practical and common are automatic switches “From 2 to 1” and “From 4 to 4”. The paper examines in detail the functions of the automatic switches “From 2 to 1” and “From 4 to 4” and considers their design features and operating principle. It also discusses automatic operation control algorithms for automatic switches “From 2 to 1” and “From 4 to 4”.
The article sets out an actual problem of main gas pipelines failure due to the stress corrosion cracking (stress corrosion). The factors contributing to the stresscorrosion cracking of trunk pipelines were investigated.
In the article the research of transition process aspects of the single-phase circuit on the earth (SPCE) in networks of 6-35 kV are considered. The oscillogram of transition process of SPCE, the analysis and calculation of numerical values of currents and voltage are provided. The specified empirical formula of calculation of current of SPCE is offered and recommendations whenever possible to use the relay protection and automatic equipment in parameters of transition process of SPCE are made. The results of analytical and experimental studies of SPCE received in the article can be used for operation of relay protection and automatic equipment of an electric network, in particular in the conditions of mountain territories.
The article describes the history of finite element method development and its application in calculating the strength of mining machines. The essence of the finite element method is revealed. This method is to split the design into basic elements, each of which is characterized by the values of displacements and stresses, lumped in the nodes of the element. The comparative analysis of finite element method and numerical methods of calculation on durability of machine parts was done. As an example, the results of the design calculation of vibrational crushing mill used for fine grinding of rocks were shown. The conducted calculations enable one to design the vibratory mills with larger diameters of grinding chambers and the increased operational resource.
The article deals with overall approach to the application of finite element method in calculating the strength of construction parts and mining machinery. As an example, the results of the design calculation of mining machinery used for fine grinding of rocks are shown. The maximum displacements and stresses occurred in vibrating mill during its work. It has been established that the loaded, and therefore the least durable wheel is vibrating mill drive, namely bearing hub.
Complex deposits mining technology is characterized with the ore quality control difficulty. To expand the area of the resource – saving technologies use with the hardening mixture laying it is perspective to use the production waste. The rich ores quality is determined by correspondence of the mining technology with the resource – saving requirements. Metallurgy supply problem with the raw material is possible during the mining technology diversification. Losses reduction and dilution during ore extraction is achieved due to the tension regulation in the massif by means of the hollows filling with the hardening mixtures. Quality factors and deposit mining intensity radio is correct and can be regulated.
